Sometimes I don’t know what to do with myself. I feel as though I’ve gone crazy. I feel like everything I’ve ever thought to be real is in fact fantasy, and that life is simply a dream, or maybe a nightmare. I love this feeling of craziness. It releases me. It sets me free. It makes me who I am.

New York City was one of the best experiences of my life. I absolutely fell in love with the culture and just the feeling of the city as a whole. I’ve always been more of a “big city” person; there’s just something about the atmosphere and the people that always has me wanting more.

Never be afraid to stand out. Your individuality is really all you have. Have the courage to speak out when you see something wrong, and to stand up for what you know is right. One person really does have the power to change the world, but only if they know how to use their voice.

Love is something that, once it gets inside of you, it never leaves. True love manages to wiggle its way into your heart, and pretty much just stay there for the rest of your life, hugging you in its light for eternity.

I’m pretty sure I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again: I absolutely love doing engagement photo shoots, especially when it’s a couple that works and moves together just perfectly. I love seeing the harmony and balance that they bring to each other.

I cried when the news broke. Steve Jobs was someone that comes along once in a generation. He drastically changed the world, in more ways that people would imagine. I looked up to him when I was growing up, and I know that he’s a big reason I want to do something artistic with my life. He influenced me in so many ways, and I could never thank him enough.

The world misses you, Steve.

I’m constantly dreaming; dreaming of places to go, things to see, people to meet, experiences to have, and living the life I want to live. I’m the kind of person that says to never give up on your dreams, and to always reach for the stars. Always believe in yourself, because every single one of you is absolutely amazing and able to create beautiful things in this world. Never give up on your dreams.

Look me in the eyes, and tell me you love me.

I think everyone knows the feeling; the feeling of needed to look strong, to look like there’s nothing wrong, to look like you’re on top of the world. There’s an innate human need to look like you’re fine, when all you wanna do is breakdown and cry.

Nature is truly my biggest inspiration. I’ve seen many places and many people, but nothing continues to amazing and stop me in my tracks like nature does.

One of the things I’ve learned as a photographer is that the eyes are truly the window to the soul, and that when made a focus of a picture, they’re absolutely amazing.

I set fire to the rain, I threw us into the flames, where I felt something die, ‘cause I knew that was the last time, the last time.

Baby, please remember me, once more.
